This is so typical in the neighbourhood of Once. It is the area where all fabric factories work and sell their products to people in general and to other big stores. It is not the nicest zone to stay, but it is good to go for the day to watch how everything works and maybe buy something. People walk quicly from one store to the other trying to get the best prices. I had an apartment for rent in buenos aires in the cute neighbourhood of Villa Crespo that is close to Once. I went a couple of times to live the experience and it was cool!
Ochava, chaflán, ochavo... different names for a point that has become a line, a non dimensional entity that has gained a dimension. This newly acquired dimension as allowed the houses to open itself to the city with entrances, doors, gates, windows.
It should go without saying that all pictures posted in this blog were shot by me. All images have been resized from a larger image, usually in RAW format. Please don't use them without EXPLICIT permission. I have all the necessary information to show that they were shot by me. Thanks!
